Rockport Inn & Suites

The room was nice and clean, the bathroom smelled a little bit like pee and it was quite small although functional. We really enjoyed the patio with the smokeless fireplace, breakfast was peaceful and there were lot’s of option, my only complaint is that the paper plates were too small, I could only fit my bagel on it. We were able to walk into town from here but the road was really busy and the sidewalk was narrow so it was kinda sketchy safety wise. Overall though an enjoyable stay!

The staff weren't that communicative or welcoming. Rooms were OK but they smelt very musty, it was making my partner and friends feel sick. We had to go get our own air fresheners. There were a number of light switches that didn't do anything or give a main light. Fire pit was cool though as a positive and its proximity to the main town.

I don‘t understand why this hotel has a 4,3 rating here on Google. Do not bother staying here! - Rude staff, especially the middle aged woman with the curly hair (not manager), no friendly greeting when checking in, no help when problems occured etc. - Room was big and that is it. Smelled of mold, felt damp and faced the parking lot. We had a 300 room and no wifi connection. We were from overseas, but they told us they cannot do anything about it. They tried to tell my husband with a masters degree in IT that the weather was the problem. Which was magically not the case at the front desk area. - Street and parking lot in front of room door are very loud, no good sleep! - Everything looks dated and would need some TLC, looks not like it looked on the pictures. - Worst breakfast ever! They must produce so much plastic trash with all this packaged stuff they offer. Laziness over environment I guess. Cheap food and not a lot of variety. Never again! This is way to expensive for what you get!
